NEURAL SEARCH

Neural Search is a new way to incorporate Monte Carlo Tree Search into neural networks. Unlike similar techniques, Neural Search builds the exploration and optimization of the search into the layers of the network. The search itself is learnable, and provides us with a means to develop guided search algorithms trained on data. We have demonstrated that the algorithm can learn robust solutions to search problems. We propose further development of the approach to large scale problems, and to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm by training it to play Go, a standard achieved AlphaGo. Total for the project is $150K over 11 months, and it will be resourced by 3 senior MLabs members.

Modelling Water Table Changes in a Virtual World

Xyris XR Design, led by Kenn Mayfield, proposes an ideation project to research and create a working demo of a simulation that models the effects of water table changes in a select meadow/wetlands location. They request $5,000 in AGIX to conduct this research and create a static demonstration dataset. The project aims to address the challenges posed by climate change and its impact on water tables and local ecology.

The proposed solution involves using a ready-to-use multiplayer Unity HDRP environment, which offers high-quality graphics and can be accessed via browser-based pixel streaming for broader accessibility. The simulation will include changeable parameters, moveable objects, and interactive controls to explore the effects of water table changes and ecological dynamics.

The ideation goals include defining geology, hydrology, species behaviors, flora, and other aspects of the simulated environment. The outcomes will help shape a full proposal for Deep Funding Round 4.

Risk mitigation strategies include addressing typical game development risks and ensuring data accuracy and provenance.

Xyris XR Design plans to publicize their work through virtual meetings and social media promotion. The project milestones and cost breakdown include updating the environment, meeting with scientists, researching literature, building a static dataset, and completing the immersive demo.

This ideation project does not expect to generate revenue or produce an open-source service at this stage but aims to lay the groundwork for future development and integration with SingularityNET.

Generative AI Decision Making Advisor: Greening Power Generation for Budgets and the Environment

MLBoost's objective is to create decision-making advisor software driven by generative technologies, initially targeting power plant operations to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption. This Proof of Concept (POC) serves as a critical demonstration of their technology's potential. Current power plant operations are hindered by slow mathematical optimization methods, resulting in suboptimal performance and increased emissions. MLBoost's POC phase involves sourcing Power Plant Digital Models (PDMs) and comparing generative optimization methods with conventional approaches. The success of this POC will lay the foundation for future software development on the SingularityNet platform, integrating forecasting services like SYBIL for smarter decision-making. The marketing strategy centers on showcasing the solution's superiority to power plant operators, utility companies, and sustainability agencies through case studies and quantifiable metrics.

The aim is to create an AI-powered model that estimates subsoil SOC content, addressing the challenge of accurately measuring carbon storage. The proposal outlines key milestones such as data sourcing, expert recruitment, and creating a model plan. The funding amount is yet to be determined. The solution involves using AI ensembles to estimate SOC levels based on accurate lab-analyzed subsoil samples. The project's marketing strategy and risk mitigation plans are being developed. The team includes experienced data scientists and an AI and climate advisor.

A partnership between Carbix Corporation and Xyris XR Design provides business acumen, an advanced complex technology, a library of existing meta verse projects, and interactive avatars, giving us a solid foundation for the success of this project.
